All-glass lens manufactured by Pentax, has 2 double-sided aspheric elements. Minimum focus distance of 14cm is at wide angle; at telephoto this increases to 40cm.
ISO 400 is available only when flash is used. Has ability to tag images using what HP terms 'Instant Share' technology for sending to up to 14 destinations such as email addresses and printers. When the camera is next connected to a PC, the images are sent to their predefined destinations... Has direct-print capability when connected to a USB Photosmart or Deskjet printer.
Optional accessories include Photosmart 8881 camera dock (allows battery charging, computer and video-out connectivity, and comes bundled with 4 x AA NiMH batteries).
